For all of the newcomers, here are some views of my den which is now basically my man cave with my layout on one side and all of my work area on the other side. Of course you have to have a flat screen TV in there as well to watch rail cams or train […]

What’s old is new again….
I found stored away in an old train box a car I had forgotten about, this Accurail 50′ ft ex-PRR boxcar patched for PC and weathered. It now rejoins the fleet and was spotted today on the team track:

Still some construction and…..
I still have a tiny bit of work to do to get the new website up to speed for everyone. I hope to add an actual events calendar soon to replace the current placeholder. One item here, to look for older posts from the old website simply type “older” in the search box!

Always looking….
I’m always looking for commission work from modelers. I enjoy the art of weathering trains since about 2009. Not only does it help support my wife and I with being retired, it also keeps me off the streets and out of trouble as they used to say! If interested in having that special model just […]

Attending….!
Big news for me, as for family commitments I had to skip the 2025 event, but I plan to attend the Colorado RPM for 2026 as a vendor showcasing my weathering and of course seeking commission work. More details to come, but for now, here’s the link to this year’s event! https://corpm.org/

Finished…!
I’ve finished this car I posted on earlier and will be on eBay on Friday. The other side of the car I’ve left fairly clean I guess you’d say ( not as grimy as the other side of the prototype) , but of course still faded. The reweigh decal says BK for Brewster, Ohio which […]

Next up….
I’ve started on the next project for eBay, this Moloco 50’ Wabash insulated boxcar. I’m trying to replicate the prototype photo shown. So far I think it’s a fairly good representation. More photos when the car is finished:

New project….
Here is the current project I’m working on instead of the BAR boxcar posted previously. I had a short break in between commission work, so decided to whip this guy out pretty quick. This is one of the Tangent X58 boxcars that are now pretty scarce, especially this PRR scheme. Here’s current progress:
